Grant The Internews “Rooted in Trust” project is calling on journalists, multimedia producers, media outlets, and community-based organizations in seven focal countries to apply for funding to produce impactful content and/or activities to help fight against the “Infodemic” of misinformation and rumors that have hampered efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19.

This opportunity is open to all newsrooms and independent journalists in the United States and abroad.

JOURNALISM 360 CHALLENGE

Grant The Journalism 360 Challenge is an open call for ideas using immersive storytelling to discover new ways to engage audiences and advance the field of journalism.
Winners will receive a share of $100,000 for early-stage projects that help expand best practices for technologies including, but not limited to: 360 video, spatial audio, augmented reality, virtual reality and mixed reality.
