EC CALL FOR PROPOSALS: PREPARATORY ACTION ON MEDIA LITERACY FOR ALL

Grant The call aims at boosting media literacy in Europe through pursuing innovation and collaboration across media literacy communities within the EU, including by building on and scaling up existing solutions. Innovative strategies are sought, to inform citizens of disinformation and to promote a responsible use of communication channels offered by social media.

Award Applications are now open for the 2019 edition of the Global Youth and News Media Prize. The prize has three award categories open to any kind of news media on any platform and run by people of any age. The award celebrates news media work that serves, supports and both attracts and learns from young audiences.

EU – WESTERN BALKANS MEDIA DAYS 2018

Launched last year by the European Commission, the EU – Western Balkans Media Days aim to ensure that media freedom remains a priority while tackling the complexity of pressing political, economic and social issues the region experience at present. Moreover, the forum has reached out to the professional challenges of journalists and media: their need to adapt to a rapidly changing media environment.
