Grant UNESCO Jakarta is looking for partner to design and implement capacity building training on the safety of journalists’ physical and/or digital nature as well as ethical and professional standards in journalism to take place between March and October 2021. Under the framework “Strengthening Safety of Journalists and Professional Standards in the Philippines”, the project aims at contributing to strengthening the safety of journalists in the Philippines through capacity building for the journalists.

Grant The European Commission (EC) has launched a call for proposals for Media Freedom and Investigative Journalism. This Call combines three references in the European Parliament’s budgetary remarks for 2020: Action 1 – Pilot Project: A Europe-wide response mechanism for violations of press and media freedom. Action 2 – Preparatory Action: Cross-border investigative journalism fund. Action 3 – Pilot Project: Supporting investigative journalism and media freedom in the EU.

Grant The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) and the Earth Journalism Network are providing a six-month media fellowship to digital, print and radio journalists, voice artists, documentary film makers, video bloggers, graphic artists and anyone else who has a demonstrated flair for mass communication. Preference will be given to applicants from the Himalayan region in India, Nepal and Bhutan.
USAID’S BMAP 3RD MEDIA INNOVATION LAB: REPORTING ETHICALLY DURING A PANDEMIC

Grant The Media Innovation Lab will gather lead experts in the field and provide different perspectives, teach new skills, and inspire participants to tackle new challenges! On the last day, participants will present their projects to a jury for a chance to receive seed funding of up to $5,000 USD to further develop their prototypes and ideas after the event into full-fledged tools and projects that can be rolled out for use by media across the region.
