Operating through a three-pronged approach:
- The organisation works towards creating legal frameworks that safeguard freedom of expression and uphold fundamental principles of Human Rights.
- They strive to support Somali journalists in practicing ethical and professional journalism, providing training across basic journalistic skills and thematic areas. Collaborating with academic institutions, they aim to establish learning infrastructure such as journalism faculties.
- Acknowledging the media’s role as the fourth estate and a catalyst for social change, they emphasize its vital impact. Consequently, they provide reliable information and enhance public awareness and engagement on significant social issues through diversified awareness-raising campaigns utilizing a multi-channel approach.
