Al Jumhuriya is an independent media and knowledge platform from Syria, which was launched in the spring of 2012 at the initiative of a group of Syrian writers, academics, and journalists residing inside the country and in the diaspora, and has since grown to become one of the Syrian and Arab platforms known for its in-depth and critical content.
In its work, it is inspired by basic libertarian values, namely freedom and social justice, and believes in the role of the press, knowledge and thought in translating these values into a daily affair that is present in the minds of Syrian men and women, and the general Arabic-speaking population.
