Author: Olga Komarova | 21. January 2020

On December 19th at 15:00 CET, Rana Sabbagh, executive director of Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism will host a GFMD member-only webinar titled “Investigative journalists under autocratic regimes: the work of ARIJ”.

ARIJ is the first and leading media organisation in the region dedicated to promoting investigative journalism in Arab newsrooms, which is still a new practice. Based in Amman, ARIJ was formed in early 2005 to support independent quality professional journalism, through funding in-depth journalism projects, and offering training and media coaching. ARIJ helps journalists working in print, radio, TV, and on-line media in Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq, Bahrain, Palestine, Yemen and Tunisia.

GFMD members can register to join the webinar here.
