GFMD Fundraising Guide for Media Development is now available in multiple languages

About a year ago, GFMD put together a new fundraising centre and guide specifically aimed at our sector to help media development and journalism develop and improve fundraising proposals. Fundraising Guide for Media Development has now been professionally translated and available in French and Spanish.

Author: Communications Gfmd | 7. April 2022

From now on, you can browse the Fundraising Guide for Media Development in multiple languages:

The guide has also been translated into Arabic. It will be available in a few weeks.

The translated Fundraising Guides will be officially introduced on April 7 during the International Journalism Festival in Perugia. Translated guides in French and Spanish feature:

  • Tips on how to plan the process, identify relevant opportunities, write a proposal, and present a realistic budget.
  • An extensive lexicon of fundraising terminology to help you during the process.
  • If you are looking for donors, the resource centre has an extensive list of relevant funders with details of their areas of focus and with links to their funding opportunities.

Don’t forget to sign up for Bottom Line, our Fundraising Newsletter, to get monthly tools and tips on how to improve your applications, and explore the latest funding opportunities.

What languages would you like to see the Fundraising Guide translated into next? We would love to hear from you about how we can make our fundraising resources more useful. Feel free to send us your questions or suggestions at amhammer@gmfd.info
