SoJo Europe – Call for Stipends

• Eligibility Criteria: This call is open to eligible media outlets from European countries focused on increasing reader trust, audience share, and revenue through solutions journalism. The call aims to recruit 18 newsrooms in total (10 in the first year and 8 in the second year). Media outlets must have the capacity to collaborate in a cross-European knowledge hub to foster systemic cooperation. The selection process will be managed by an independent jury experienced in constructive and solutions journalism.

Objectives

The programme, funded by SoJo Europe focuses on stimulating more solutions journalism, particularly for the climate change beat, and fostering connected investigative and solutions reporting through a training, grant, and mentoring programme. Activities will also include study tours, international conferences, and increased collaboration among European newsrooms.
