- Eligibility Criteria: Open to professional journalists (freelancers or contracted) working individually or in pairs from Brazil, Europe, and Asia. Applicants must submit a detailed story proposal, execution timeline, basic budget, and a letter of commitment for publication from a journalistic outlet (to be submitted with the application or up to three business days after pre-selection). Eligible applicants must work with or publish in national-scope media outlets such as newspapers, websites, or TV stations. Preference will be given to outlets or freelancers with the capacity to reach a broad audience and communicate climate adaptation concepts through practical examples.

- Strengthen journalistic coverage on climate adaptation, a key pillar of the COP30 agenda.

- Increase public understanding of adaptation financing, local solutions, and policy implementation.
- Foster international collaboration and knowledge exchange among journalists covering climate issues.
