Are you working on a concept for developing new media offerings and would like to make them market-ready? With the Media Start funding from the Vienna Media Initiative, they support media founders who realize economically sustainable offerings by deepening their business and journalistic know-how.

With the Media Start funding from the Vienna Media Initiative, they support self-employed journalists and small media companies. You can have them support costs for training and further education, training and consulting, internal personnel costs and travel costs.

What is funded?

The funding supports costs for education and training, training and advice, internal personnel costs and travel costs. At least 50% of the costs must be accounted for by external services (training and further education, consulting, know-how transfer).

Funding Information

With the Media Start funding from the Vienna Media Initiative, you can receive a maximum of 10,000 euros per project. Depending on the funding, there are different maximum amounts.

• Minimum project size: 2,000 euros
• Maximum project duration: 1.5 years
