Objectives:
The Media Freedom Hub 2025 aims to:
- Support exiled independent media and journalists from Russia and Belarus in EU Member States.
- Ensure the sustainability of independent media outlets working from the EU.
- Foster a pan-European network of media hubs for a pluralistic media environment.
- Preserve independent journalism by enabling continued content production and distribution without editorial interference.
- Strengthen democracy and free expression by ensuring access to independent news for Russian audiences inside and outside Russia.

- Financial and technical support for independent media outlets and journalists.
- Establishing a network of media hubs across the EU.
- Enhancing coordination and collaboration among exiled media organizations.
- Providing safe working conditions for journalists facing repression.
Financial Support: Total Budget: EUR 2,940,000, maximum EU Co-Financing: 95% of eligible costs.
