– For the Small Projects Programme, the applicant must be a legally registered organisation or entity. This could include non-governmental organisations (NGOs), civil society organisations (CSOs), community groups, academic institutions, or other relevant entities;
– The proposed project must be implemented in Kyrgyzstan. Preference may be given to projects that have a focus on rural areas or target marginalised groups within the country;
– The project must be designed to start and finish between October 2024 and March 2025. - Type of Funding: Programmatic

As part of the Small Projects Programme, the British Embassy Bishkek invites proposals for project initiatives in Kyrgyzstan for activity until March 2025.
Objectives
They expect project initiatives to contribute to the following objectives:
- Media: support and build trust in independent media that enables informed public debate. The maximum project budget for proposals is £20,000.
- Cyber: raise public awareness of cyber security to address fraudulent online activity. The maximum project budget for proposals is £20,000.
- Services: improve access to services for people with disabilities, women or marginalised groups in rural areas. The maximum project budget for proposals is £20,000.
Funding Information
- Maximum Budget: £20,000 per project.
- Project Duration: Projects must be implemented between October 2024 and March 2025
- Eligible Costs: The budget should be activity-based, covering costs directly related to the implementation of the project, including events, reports, and other measurable outputs.
- Currency: Project costs can be presented in Kyrgyz soms or US dollars, but the equivalent value must be provided in pounds sterling.
