- Eligibility Criteria: Collaborations involving at least one media outlet and one research/academic organisation working on an investigation on a topic of public interest (e.g., climate change, healthcare, emerging technologies, local governance).
Organisations must be based in one or more countries participating in the cross-sectoral strand of the European Union’s Creative Europe Programme. Eligible countries include all 27 EU member states and: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, and Ukraine.
The lead applicant must be a media outlet. A journalist (including freelancers) associated with the outlet must act as the team lead.
Individual journalists and/or scientists may join the applying teams, provided at least one media and one research organisation are involved.
Media, journalists, scientists, and/or research organisations from non-eligible countries may participate as long as the core team meets the eligibility criteria.
