  Eligibility for the grants to support Minority-Language Media in the Baltic Region is open to:
  – Newsrooms of any size, registered and producing content in Russian, primarily serving audiences in the Baltic states.
• Type of Funding: Programmatic
• Target Region: The Baltic Region
• Application Language: English

The Baltic Centre for Media Excellence (BCME) is excited to announce a small-grant opportunity to support minority-language media outlets, with a special focus on Russian-language media, registered and operating in the Baltic countries.

What Activities Are Eligible?

This grant supports a wide range of initiatives aimed at enhancing the operations and sustainability of your media outlet. Activities may include, but are not limited to:

• Developing new content formats or programs.
• Launching or upgrading apps or websites.
• Expanding your social media reach to engage larger audiences.
• Any other projects that strengthen your media outlet’s growth, sustainability, or content quality.

Funding Information

• Funding Range: €5,000–€10,000 (depending on the scope of activities and funding requirements).
• Funding Period: January 1, 2025 – August 15, 2025
