Grants for Science Podcasts (Brazil)

• Eligibility Criteria:
  Media organisations, radio, or news portals can apply. Proposals from small organizations or independent producers will also be accepted.
• Type of funding: Programmatic
• Target country: Brazil
• Application language: Portuguese

The Instituto Serrapilheira is accepting Brazilian podcast projects in which science plays a central role.

Up to 8 projects will be selected, which will participate in a training program and receive resources for the production of a season.

The focus of the podcast must be on the following areas:

• Life sciences
• Geosciences
• Physics
• Chemistry
• Computer science
• Mathematics

The Serrapilheira Institute accepts podcast proposals from diverse formats but they will prioritize projects that have good script structures and the potential to develop captivating narratives. Proposals from Black and indigenous people are encouraged.
