The International Women’s Media Foundation (IWMF) is accepting proposals for the Fund for Indigenous Journalists: Reporting on Missing & Murdered Women, Girls, Two-Spirit, Transgender People (MMIWG2T).

The Fund for Indigenous Journalists: Reporting on MMIWG2T will prioritize funding for U.S.-based, in-depth reporting projects that go beyond breaking news and explore the underlying factors of the issue of violence against Indigenous people and the issue of Missing & Murdered Indigenous People (MMIP) with a focus on women, girls, Two-Spirit, and transgender people.

Reporting projects include journalistic work in any media format, including but not limited to stories for print, broadcast, multimedia, podcasts, documentaries, photography and all new media.
