At least 80% of the requested budget should go to journalists/media based in the European Union. Individuals or organizations from outside Europe are not eligible.

Objectives:
- Stimulate local journalists and news outlets to conduct investigative journalism by fostering collaboration across borders.
- Support journalists and news outlets focusing on localised issues at the city, regional, or sub-national levels.
- Increase the dissemination, reach, and impact of locally-focused investigative journalism.
Encourage cross-border cooperation on issues such as housing, waste, tourism, mobility, and more.

Financial Support:
Total available funding for 2024-2025 is €365,000, distributed over two application rounds. The upcoming round has €250,000 to distribute.
