The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to the Republic of Armenia is accepting project applications for the implementation of the 2023 Development Cooperation and Democracy Promotion Programme in Armenia.

The Embassy calls for the submission of the applications in the following project concepts:

  1. Environment protection and fight against climate change
  2. Strengthen resilience to disinformation in Armenia
  3. Economic and social development in Armenia rural areas

The second project concept aims to strengthen media literacy, resilience to disinformation in Armenian civil society and/or strengthen the strategic communication capacities of Armenian governmental institutions.

Project objectives:

  1. Strengthen the capacities of Armenian civil society, media and governmental institutions to recognize and resist disinformation, and increase media literacy and fact-checking capabilities.
  2. Organize and implement information campaigns with the purpose of deconstructing disinformation and presenting positive changes originating from the implementation of the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) as well as ongoing democratic reforms to the public; and
  3. To share Lithuania’s experience in the above-mentioned fields (optional).

An application for a project provided by Lithuania shall contain at least one partner in Armenia (not applicable if an application for a project is being submitted by an individual or entity of Armenia or by an international organization). Partner‘s consent to cooperate should be attached.
