Development Communication and Education (Austria)

The Austrian Development Agency (ADA) is now accepting applications for the Development Policy Communication and Education call for funding.

This program supports projects in development policy communication and education in Austria in four fields of action:

• Learn: Education – Global Learning / Global Citizenship Education; Cultural mediation or exchange
• Attention: Information work, campaigns, lawyers, media
• Use: Volunteer missions
• Knowledge: Science & journalism

With the Sustainable Development Goals as a compass for the crises, the ADA wants to stimulate further impulses for discussion and implementation, to further emphasize the SDGs and to find concrete ways into an ecological and socially just future.

Background to current global developments and their global-local relationships should be examined, the importance of the SDGs discussed, knowledge and skills promoted, Learning spaces and engagement are opened and new alliances between the various social actors and policy fields are strengthened.
