Climate Reporting Gap Fellowship

• Eligibility Criteria:Applications are open to mid-career and experienced journalists and filmmakers from Nigeria, with 3–5 years of experience.
  Applicants must report on climate change, climate finance, or the energy transition in Nigeria or the wider region.
  No background in climate reporting is required, but applicants should demonstrate a strong commitment to journalism and interest in climate-related storytelling.

• Build a stronger ecosystem of climate communication in Nigeria grounded in local expertise and community impact
• Amplify grassroots voices and promote solutions-based climate journalism
• Strengthen data-driven and inclusive climate storytelling
• Foster political accountability and transparency in climate and energy policy
• Bridge the gap between global climate issues and local lived realities
