The National Screen Institute (NSI) is inviting applications for the CBC New Indigenous Voices Training Program to build your career and learn the essential elements of working in film, TV and digital media. CBC New Indigenous Voices is a full-time, 14-week online training program for up to 10 Indigenous creators aged 18 to 35 to learn the essential elements of working in the film, TV and digital media industries.
The curriculum is designed with traditional and spiritual elements. Participants receive minimum wage throughout the entire program. Six places are guaranteed for applicants living in Manitoba and up to four places are available to applicants who live outside Manitoba. The 2022 edition will be delivered online. Students will each produce a podcast episode and participate in other hands-on projects.
