UN Women is pleased to launch a call for proposals for Promoting Women’s Participation in Public and Political life through Media.

UN Women ECO aims to support partnership with a CSO that has a track record of working in the area of ​​gender equality, media and communications, women in leadership and governance and community mobilisation. CSO’s are invited to submit proposals to design and implement interventions to transform gender norms so that women are accepted as legitimate and effective leaders particularly through strengthened capacity of media professionals (mainstream and community media (editors, journalists, and advertisement professionals)), and implement campaigns that sensitize media and community on the right of women to participate in public and political life.
