- Eligibility Criteria: Media organizations in low- or middle-income countries (as classified by the World Bank) are eligible to apply. Priority will be given to organizations in biodiversity-rich regions or those facing significant biodiversity loss. Eligible applicants include journalist networks, media organizations, civil society organizations, and academic institutions. Applications from NGOs or environmental groups will be considered, but preference is given to professional journalists, media organizations, and journalism schools. Applications rooted in advocacy or political campaigning will not be considered.
