9 June 2020 - 12 June 2020
RightsCon is the world’s leading summit on human rights in the digital age, bringing together business leaders, policy makers, general counsels, technologists, advocates, academics, government representatives, and journalists from around the world to tackle the most pressing issues at the intersection of human rights and technology.
Originally called the Silicon Valley Human Rights Conference, RightsCon rotated annually between San Francisco and another global city. Now, RightsCon visits new host cities each year that are power centers for technology and human rights. In 2020, the ninth edition of RightsCon will be hosted in San José, Costa Rica.
