AFRICA’S PREMIER INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALISM CONFERENCE GOES VIRTUAL
3 October 2021 - 6 October 2021
The African Investigative Journalism Conference (AIJC) has been hosted since 2005 at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. It has grown to become the biggest annual gathering of working journalists on the continent, a meeting place for investigative reporters and a showcase of the best work from the continent.
It takes place this year on October 3-5, 2021.
To make the most out of pandemic conditions, AIJC2021 is planned as a hybrid conference with small, safe, simultaneous gatherings in five African cities, live-streamed to the rest of the continent.
Join the continent’s best for 25+ sessions of great stories, new tools and techniques, networking and master classes. AIJC is organised by the Journalism Department of the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. Africa’s biggest annual gathering of working journalists, it is an opportunity to share great African work, learn new skills, hear how it is done and share experiences.
