Road Safety Reporting Competition and Awards

Status: Open

Organisation: International Centre for Journalists (ICFJ)

Deadline: Ongoing

Location: Online

The Road Safety Reporting Competition and Awards by the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) aims to help journalists produce stories that shine a light on road crash deaths and injuries in some of the hardest-hit countries.

The Road Safety Reporting Competition and Awards are implemented through ICFJ, supported by the FIA Foundation Richard Stanley Memorial Grant and the WHO through funding from Bloomberg Philanthropies, to raise awareness and spur dialogue around critical, yet under-reported, road safety issues.

Journalists have a crucial role to play in calling for policies and actions that save lives, holding leaders to account, and showcasing solutions to the complex challenge of ensuring safe mobility for everyone.
