Partners for Democracy Day 2024

The Global Democracy Coalition is organising its second Partners for Democracy Day, scheduled for March 19, 2024. The event aims to provide an additional platform for civil society, international organisations, academic institutions, think tanks, philanthropic organisations, and the private sector, enabling their voices to be heard in the Summit discussions and the global democracy debate to complement and enrich the Summit for Democracy 2024.

The vision for P4D 2024 is to create a dynamic and inclusive programme of events spanning 24 hours, accessible to participants worldwide through both in-person gatherings, hybrid sessions, and an online platform. To ensure a focused experience, there will be no competing events during the hybrid sessions during the Summit for Democracy, directing the online audience’s attention to the official proceedings. Event proposals will be accepted from February 2 to March 5, 2024.

Limited grant funding is available for GDC members, and requests will be accepted until 12 February. While applying for funding is optional, self-funded and self-organized events are encouraged. For those requesting funding, please use the following budget template when submitting your funding proposal.
