Status: Closed

Organisation: Climatetracker.org

Deadline: 28/07/2024

Location: Santiago de Chile

The Climate Tracker and FES Chile – Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung foundations are organising a new in-person workshop in Santiago de Chile, aimed at journalists interested in improving their coverage of climate action and the energy transition in the country.

On this occasion, participants will be able to acquire new knowledge and/or improve their skills in solutions journalism, one of the most popular areas in the previous workshops! In addition, they will be eligible for one of the 6 opportunities to support journalistic production. They invite you to join this experience and give voice to stories that deserve to be told.

In Chile, the demand for information on climate change is increasing, making it essential for journalists to acquire new skills and specialise in this field. That is why they organised this necessary two-day workshop where participants will have the opportunity to interact with specialists in the field and learn from experienced journalists who have covered issues related to climate change in the country.

In particular, in this training initiative, each participant will delve into key topics covering energy solutions, nature-based solutions and how to practice solutions journalism.
