Global Reporting Summit 2024

One World Media is hosting its Global Reporting Summit 2024 which brings the international community of journalists together to explore the most pressing challenges and solutions facing the media industry.

The focus of this year’s Global Reporting Summit is “Climate change and its impact on women and vulnerable groups in Latin America and the Caribbean.” The Summit will explore the role that filmmakers and journalists can play in confronting this urgent societal challenge.

By bringing together journalists, filmmakers, grassroot organisations, university students and policy experts to take part in a rich combination of panel discussions and workshops, they will explore the opportunities and ideas that can make a difference. They will discuss how to ethically report on the climate crisis, and how storytelling can be used to influence policy makers and leaders.
