The Free European Media Conference 2022 in Gdansk on the 17th and 18th of March is organised by the European Federation of Journalists (EFJ) and Free European Media in cooperation with the Council of Europe, European Commission (EU), the European Centre for Press and Media Freedom (ECPMF), Nordic Council of Ministers (NMR), Nordic Journalist Centre (NJC), Self-Government of the Pomorskie Voivodeship, European Solidarity Centre (ECS) and City of Gdansk.
The event is aimed to focus on the initiatives and mechanisms to meet the challenges free and independent media are facing.
