Climate misinformation is a major obstacle to the energy transition in Latin America and the Caribbean. Climate Tracker presents the research “Gaslighting”, which reveals how these narratives operate and how to combat them. Join our free events in May and be part of the change.
Objectives
- Expose the impact of climate misinformation on energy transition policies in Latin America and the Caribbean.
- Provide journalists and communicators with practical tools to identify and counter misinformation.
- Foster collaboration among journalists, activists, and policymakers to strengthen climate reporting.
- Encourage informed public discussions and promote evidence-based climate policies.
Eligibility
- Open to journalists, communicators, activists, and decision-makers.
- Participants should have an interest in climate reporting, misinformation, and energy transition.
- Events are free and require prior registration.
Deadline: Registration is open from March 17 to May 4, 2025.
