EU merg la Media Camp – Media Camp for Young People

The Youth Media Center from Moldova invites young people aged 16 to 20 to the EU merg la Media Camp, a summer camp dedicated to media content production, taking place from June 8-11. This initiative is supported by the European Union, with all participation costs covered by European funds.

EU merg la Media Camp is a unique opportunity for participants to combat disinformation and collaboratively create media products. The Youth Media Center team will offer hands-on workshops covering the entire content creation process: from pre-production (choosing and researching topics), through production (filming), to post-production (editing, posting, and promotion).

The camp will run from July 8-11, 2024, and the primary language of communication will be Romanian, with translation into Russian available.

During the camp, participants will also have the chance to learn about European Union values and the benefits of Moldova’s integration into the EU. Special guests, including Jānis Mažeiks, the EU Ambassador to Chisinau, along with government representatives and journalists, will be available for discussions.
