Communicators’ Workshop on Renewable Energy in Chennai, India

Status: Closed

Organisation: Earth Journalism Network

Deadline: 09/09/2024

Internews’ Earth Journalism Network (EJN) invites communicators to join a national workshop on renewable energy in Chennai, from October 24-26, 2024. Communicators from anywhere in India are eligible; those from Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh are especially encouraged to apply

The workshop on renewable energy sessions are designed to improve the understanding of communicators of the state of the renewable energy sector in India, the challenges ahead and the ways to overcome those challenges. EJN will facilitate engagement between communicators, researchers, subject experts, policymakers and communities, providing an opportunity to gain knowledge and deepen understanding of key issue areas.

The organisers will cover the cost of travel, accommodation, and meals of selected participants, and the workshop will include a field trip to a suitable location.
