The Summit, scheduled for November 21-23, 2024, in Lahore, is the premier platform where journalists, editors, media educators, and students come together to discuss and address the challenges and future of journalism.

Theme and Focus Areas
This year’s theme is “Youth Leadership for a Resilient Media Ecosystem”, with a focus on empowering young journalists and media practitioners to drive positive change. They invite you to submit your ideas for interactive and engaging sessions that resonate with this theme and explore the following key areas:
- Media and Digital Freedoms: Understanding the vital role that freedoms play in safeguarding a free press and ensuring access to information.
- Erosion of the Information Ecosystem: Examining the impact of disinformation and hate speech on public trust and the credibility of journalism.
- Traditional and Digital Media Economy: Exploring how digital platforms affect media sustainability and potential new revenue models.
