Call for Investigative Journalism Papers

Status: Closed

Organisation: Abraji

Deadline: 10/04/2024

Location: Online

The Brazilian Association for Investigative Journalism (Abraji) is announcing a call for investigative journalism papers to be presented and discussed during its research seminar this summer.

The seminar will be part of Abraji’s 2024 Investigative Journalism Conference, which will take place in São Paulo, July 11-14.

Academics and college students with papers on investigative journalism can submit their work in this call for investigative journalism papers.

Nine papers will be selected: three from researchers with a master or doctorate degree, three from undergraduate students, and three from recent graduates.

The authors who have their work selected will meet in person in São Paulo, to present the articles and TCCs. Abraji will cover the accommodation and transportation expenses (land or air), as long as it is within the national territory, for one member of each chosen job. All authors will have free access to the 19th International Congress of Investigative Journalism and the 6th Data Sunday.
