Tactical Tech is looking for experienced contributors to collaborate on the development of learning materials, guides, and workshop curricula on a wide range of investigation methods and topics. These contributions will support and enrich the resources of Tactical Tech’s Exposing the Invisible and Influence Industry projects.

- Investigative journalism
- Socially engaged research
- Open Source Intelligence (OSINT)
- Digital safety for investigators
- Data privacy, political influence & elections
- Environmental and human rights investigations
- Collaborative and data-based investigative methods
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should be:
- Experienced investigators, researchers, media trainers, or journalists
- Proven writers or trainers in investigative methodologies and tools
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Able to work under tight deadlines and open to feedback
- Committed to ethical knowledge-sharing and inclusive, public-interest investigation
- Freelancers or affiliated with independent media/NGOs
Type of Contribution
Content may include:
- Articles (blog posts or short explainers): €300
- Guides (step-by-step methods or best practices): up to €1,000
- Workshop Curricula (3–4 hours in length): up to €1,000
- Content will be published under a Creative Commons license and with the contributor’s byline.
