Journalist Post aims to make visible the common challenges faced by journalists and media professionals beyond geographical borders. To date, Journalist Post has been produced with contributions from numerous journalists and media professionals from more than 50 countries. This broad network of participation reinforces Journalist Post’s status as an independent and international publication that brings together voices from diverse regions.

In this context, Journalist Post would be delighted to receive contributions from you — their valued journalists, media professionals, academics, media organisations, and civil society representatives — for their 8th issue.

Details

You can contribute to the journal with the following types of content:

  • Articles and analyses on current media issues.
  • Commentaries on press freedom, freedom of expression, and journalists’ working conditions.
  • Articles addressing the media landscape in specific countries or regions.
  • Interviews and accounts of professional experiences.
  • Research, special reports, and field observations.
  • Studies on new media, digital journalism, and technological transformation.
  • Views on media ethics, disinformation, and the future of journalism.
  • Photographs, illustrations, and visual content.
  • Journalist Post prefers contributions to be original, unpublished in any other publication, and (if possible)
  • focused on a current topic.

How to apply

Submissions may be prepared in Turkish, English, or German. Those wishing to submit contributions need only contact us with a subject line, a short CV, and contact information.
