The 13th edition of the CMPF Summer School offers early and mid-career journalists and media practitioners an immersive opportunity to explore the shifting dynamics of the global information sphere. Held at the European University Institute (EUI), the programme will address the complex interplay between journalism, technology, regulation, and democracy. Through engaging sessions with leading scholars and experts, participants will gain fresh insights into media innovation, AI, freedom of expression, and the future of journalism in a rapidly evolving digital environment.
Objectives
- Examine how big tech, AI, and emerging influencers are reshaping the media landscape.
- Explore policy responses and regulatory frameworks that aim to protect media freedom and integrity.
