In response to the killing of Slovak journalist, Ján Kuciak, group of leading press freedom and media development organisations has called the European Union to action. In addition to condemning the recent killings of Slovak journalist Ján Kuciak and Daphne Caruana Galizia, the group is calling upon authorities to address threats to journalists and come up with better ways to protect journalists and journalism on the EU level.
