The Oxford Media Policy Summer Institute is now accepting applications for its 2025 edition, an intensive program for early and mid-career scholars, media lawyers and regulators, human rights activists, technologists, and policymakers to explore the intersection of technology, media, and policy from a global and multidisciplinary perspective.
About the Oxford Media Policy Summer Institute
The Oxford Media Policy Summer Institute, hosted by the Programme in Comparative Media Law and Policy (PCMLP) at the University of Oxford, offers a unique opportunity to engage with leading academics and practitioners. Taking place from July 28 – August 8, 2025, at Jesus College, Oxford, UK, the program provides an immersive environment for discussions on media governance, digital rights, and the future of global media policy.
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to early and mid-career professionals, including regulators, academics, researchers, media professionals, lawyers, technologists, and civil society advocates.
- Applicants must demonstrate a strong interest and expertise in media policy, technology governance, or digital rights.
- Fluency in English is required as all sessions are conducted in English.
