Tech Policy Press Fellowship Program

Tech Policy Press is inviting applications for its 2026 Fellowship Program, a year-long, part-time initiative designed to support journalists, researchers, and public policy professionals working at the intersection of technology and democracy. Fellows will receive a stipend, editorial support, and access to a global cohort to develop impactful, public-interest work.

Objectives

• Support independent reporting and analysis on urgent questions in tech policy.
• Promote projects that inform the public and decision-makers, particularly those centering communities often excluded from global tech policy conversations.
• Strengthen fellows’ professional development through editorial guidance, cohort exchange, and international visibility.

Eligibility Criteria

• Open to journalists, researchers, lawyers, and public policy professionals worldwide.
• Strong background in tech policy, media, governance, or related areas.
• Commitment to producing high-quality, public-interest content.
• Applications from the Global Majority and underrepresented communities are encouraged.
• Proficiency in English (training, publication, and meetings conducted in English).
