Reporters Without Borders (RSF) is looking for a Projects Manager for the RSF Asia-Pacific Bureau (Taipei) Manage, monitor and evaluate the projects of the bureau. The position will report to the Director of Projects (DPJ), the Director of Resources and Development (DRD) and any other department when needed.

The general mission of the Projects Manager will be to manage the projects of the bureau, donor communications, follow-up and Reporting, and procurement and contracts.

Key Responsibilities

Manage, monitor and evaluate the projects of the bureau

  • Supervise and manage the planning of the bureau’s programs and its implementation in coordination with the director.
  • Ensure budget monitoring for each project.
  • Provide project budgets forecasts and financial reports to the bureau’s Admin Manager for office budget reporting.
  • Participate in the strategic definition of activities and programmes implemented by the bureau.
  • Monitor and ensure implementation of project activities in compliance with commitment to donors such as training and capacity building activities etc

Contribute to the bureau’s development

  • Contribute to project proposals for grant applications (especially budget and implementation activities).

Donor communication, follow-up and reporting

  • Compile the information needed to measure the impact of activities and to communicate about them.
  • Ensure communication commitments in financing contracts

Procurement and contracts

  • Supervise the calls for tenders for decision-making and the submission of projects to donors.
  • Manage contracts for external service providers.
  • Ensure the administrative follow-up of projects and compliance with procedures.
