Refugees International Seeks New Director Of Communications

Deadline: Ongoing | Refugees International is hiring a new Director of Communications to be based mainly in their Washington, DC, office and with additional work internationally in the field.

Criteria Includes:

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, political science or international relations, or related field. Master’s degree is preferred
• Twelve years + experience in communications at a non-profit organisation, and/or as a former journalist (ideally with management experience)
• Preexisting relationships with editors, producers, and foreign correspondents strongly desired
• Foreign language skills a plus. Experience with U.S. government or the UN is an asset.
