Deutsche Welle (DW) is hiring a Project Associate (f/m/d) Media Development, Asia and Europe for the DW Akademie in Bonn or Berlin on April 1, 2024 or as soon as possible with a fixed-term contract until December 31, 2024.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the project team in the implementation of the projects “Space for Freedom” (project lines – Belarus and Russia) and “Baltic Media and Information Literacy”
  • Management of fund forwarding contracts, partner invoices, receipts, invoices and other project documents
  • Support in planning and organizing meetings and events
  • Logistics for project activities and travel management, communication with local project partners
  • Electronic data archiving and maintenance of the project team’s knowledge management system
  • Support the project team in questions of financial controlling and other project-related tasks
Your skills
  • Completed university degree (Bachelor) or commercial training in a relevant area
  • Experience in the administrative management of projects, preferably in the context of development policy projects and/or media projects
  • Experience in international collaboration with project partners is desirable
  • Good MS Office knowledge (especially Excel)
  • Strong organizational skills and an independent, careful and reliable way of working
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as intercultural competence
  • Very good knowledge of English and German, knowledge of Russian is an advantage
