Pakistan Press Foundation (PPF) invites applications for the 13th Batch of the PPF Investigative Reporting Fellowships.
The fellowships facilitate journalists to produce investigative reports that meet professional and ethical standards on issues relating to human rights, transparency, environment, inequity, governance, and corruption.
Selected fellows will receive the following: –
- An honorarium of up to sixty thousand rupees excluding tax.
- Investigative reporting training in two capacity-building workshops.
- Editorial and technical support.
Selected participants will work under the supervision of a senior journalist who will act as fellowship editor during the fellowship editor. Each fellow is expected to produce six stories during this programme.
Journalists with three to eight years of reporting experience in print, broadcasting, and online media can apply for the fellowships.
Female journalists are encouraged to apply. The criteria for journalists from Balochistan, former FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir may be relaxed for otherwise qualified applicants.
The duration of the fellowship is four months.

- Copy of the press card or employment letter
- Links or clippings of at least three articles that were published or broadcast during the last twelve months

Those who have applied for the 6th Batch of the PPF Media Safety Fellowships do not need to reapply as their applications will also be considered for the 13th Batch of the PPF Investigative Reporting Fellowships.
The deadline for submitting applications is June 18, 2023. Applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
