UNICEF Tunisia is seeking a journalist/photojournalist consultant to craft compelling human-interest stories, capture high-resolution photos accompanied by captions, and produce engaging video testimonials.
These contents will be used in publications, proposals and reports to donors, as well as on UNICEF digital platforms, during public and private events, and in other relevant documents across Tunisia, the Regional Office of UNICEF for the Middle East and North Africa, and Headquarters.
Responsibilities
As journalist/photojournalist consultant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Producing 16 human interest stories in Arabic, French and English, highlighting UNICEF activities and programs in Tunisia
- Taking high-resolution photos with captions for each story, suitable for publication in various media
- Developing engaging video testimonials to complement written stories
- Working closely with the UNICEF Partnerships, Advocacy and Communications team to
identify the most relevant angles for each story - Coordinating with program staff and implementing partners in the field to gather information and testimonies
- Travelling to regions where UNICEF has implemented programs to meet with beneficiaries, partners
and other stakeholders to collect information and testimonies - Delivering stories, photos and videos on time to enable their use in various publications and events
- Contributing to increasing awareness and understanding of UNICEF’s work in Tunisia and its impact on children and communities.
