Deadline: 5 September | The German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) is hiring a consultant in the sector program, “Implementing Human Rights in Development Cooperation.” The Human Rights Sector Program advises the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development on the implementation of a human rights approach in bilateral and multilateral development cooperation.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Completed university studies in law/politics/social science
- Academic knowledge of human rights, economic, and social human rights
- Specific knowledge in the field of digitisation, artificial intelligence and human rights
- Several years of relevant work experience in advising on the implementation of a human rights approach in development cooperation
- High advisory skills and high sensitivity in the political and intercultural context
- Teamwork, good management skills and resilience in stressful situations
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Fluent in German and English
