Full-Time News Editor

Kyiv Post is looking for a full-time English-language editor to work with our international newsroom to review, edit and refine news stories for clarity, accuracy and consistency.

Key responsibilities

• In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Kyiv and international newsrooms to ensure high-quality, timely publication
• You will work on Ukrainian, Eastern European, and international coverage across multiple sections.
• The role requires you to work an 8-hour shift between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Eligibility

• Ability to edit clearly, concisely, neutrally – and above all, accurately
• Strong command of English grammar, tone and journalistic style
• Experience working with style guides is a must
• Ability to edit and apply the in-house Style Guide
• Native English proficiency
• Knowledge of developments in Ukraine
