Free training on Google tools for journalism

Journalists, journalism students and newsrooms anywhere in Brazil can register for this free training.

Instituto FALA! has launched the FALA Training Network, a series of in-person and virtual trainings provided for and by journalists across Brazil.

FALA Training Network is a training program for journalists that will develop based on what they most believe in and seek to promote: cause journalism and network activity. The program is developed in partnership with the Google News Initiative. Any newsroom, freelance journalist or journalism student can sign up to request free training. Training will take place between March and November 2024.

The program has a network of instructors who will carry out in-person and virtual free training on Google tools for journalists in all regions of Brazil.

Classes will teach participants how to use Google tools for journalism, such as Google Search, Trends, Street View, Earth and Pinpoint. Participants will also have access to video classes on advocacy journalism.
