The European Collaborative Journalism Programme (ECJP) supports cross-border collaboration among journalists from the 46 member states of the Council of Europe. This dual programme is organised in cooperation with Arena for Journalism.
As the digital transformation continues to challenge the media landscape, investigative journalism faces growing resource constraints. At the same time, cross-border reporting is becoming increasingly important on issues such as migration, organised crime, pollution, and consumer protection. The ECJP strengthens investigative journalism by encouraging collaboration across borders, shared resources and expertise, and simultaneous publication across multiple outlets.
This immersive five-day training programme empowers journalists to explore the potential of collaborative reporting, connect with peers from across Europe, and develop impactful cross-border stories with expert guidance and mentorship.
